Vacation Bible School
- It happens each summer...Hillside ‘rocks’ with kids, teachers, and helpers in a dynamic week of Vacation Bible School every year in July.
Classrooms are ‘transformed’ into theme, setting the stage for Bible stories played out by dedicated and enthusiastic teachers. Children
earn about Jesus as Savior and Lord, as well as other Bible principles through the memorable week, concluding with a special program for
parents and friends. Click on the link in the lefthand column to view pictures from our 2011 VBS - "Time Travel".
Summer Camp
- Inspiring Speakers, Daring Devotions, Hilarious Fun, Thoughtful Worship, Deep Friendships
Maranatha Bible Camp, located near Everton, Mo., provides summer opportunities for
kids ages kindergarten through high school. Devotions, worship, Bible study, recreation, friendships, and...of course, great food
are just some of the experiences youth come home telling about. Swimming, baseball, frisbee, Bible lessons, and devotions set the
stage for an enjoyable and memorable camp experience.
Funfest
- Creativity abounds! Our annual fall fun party for elementary aged kids in the Marshfield community is the October Funfest.
This alternative to traditional Halloween activities offers games, booths, prizes, candy, a maze and characters
in costume...all in one creative event. Check out pictures from our 2010 Funfest!

Christmas Program
- Presenting the real Christmas story has become a dramatic highlight of our children’s ministry. Practice
begins in October and includes roles for the very young through young adults, culminating in December with a musical and dramatic
presentation complete with props and costumes. Kids look forward to being part of this yearly presentation.
