ast Sunday at Hillside was another day of fellowship and praise to our wonderful Savior and God. We studied from the seventeenth chapter of John. The opportunity we have to learn from and be blessed by God's Word is truly incredible. In this passage, we are allowed to listen in while Jesus prays to Father God about His followers. This intimate look into the mind of Christ is inspirational and instructive. You will be blessed when you read it with an open mind remembering that you are the subject of Jesus prayer.
Our youth had a great rummage sale that raised the most for youth activities ever. Our thanks go out to the great Marshfield community for its response. Most of the funds will be used for the youth group's trip to the Christ In Youth convention in Carbondale, Illinois this summer.
We will be back on our regular schedule this week with the Wednesday evening meal at 6:00pm and Bible study for all ages at 7:00. We are engaged in an inspiring study of the book of Romans. Anyone interested in knowing more of the application of the faith that saves would profit from joining us.
It is only right to remember all that we have to pray for in these perilous times. With many having friends and relatives away in dangerous places our prayer lives must be busy. It is also a good time to stay focused on the One who ultimately decides the number of days and hours each of us has on this earth. If our time was up tomorrow, could we know that we had done all we could have to let others see Jesus? Remember, Jesus Saves!
